This looks breathtakingly fantastic and if you don't mind sharing your technique with someone who hopes to achieve the same sort of realistic effect with her artwork then that would be awesome.
I especially love the way how you coloured the hair. It looks amazing :D

All in all, excellent job and I love the character expressions as well. Are you an animation student?
